The UN is curently voting to decide if it's okay to execute people for being gay. In their last vote, they agreed that it was okay to execute LGBT people for no reason. Seriously. Hitler would have been impressed. They will vote on the resolution again this week.

5) The Secret Behind our 2.2 million Member FB Group
Not long ago, I had a “impossible” dream to inspire millions of people. I wanted to create a huge facebook group like Pride Worldwide Online year round, with members from all over the world. A place where people could go for support, fun and a sense of belonging. A place where an isolated gay or LGBT youth could find encouragement. A place where a bullied bi or trans youth could find self-esteem. A place to save lives. A place for one global community, united.
Sixteen times, I tried to create this place. Sixteen times, I failed. Each time I failed, I learned. People laughed at my dream and said it was crazy… until this past February. Then, they suddenly stopped laughing.
That was when I started the facebook group called, “I bet we can find 1,000,000 People who Support Same Sex Marriage”. It attracted over TWO million people in just over two weeks. Guess I should have dreamed bigger when I created it!
People keep asking me how I did it. Now, to answer the question, I'm offering free coaching for gay-friendly leaders (speakers, activists, entertainers, teachers, small business owners, executives, politicians, and others) on how to inspire millions through social media. Yes, open-minded straight people are very welcome, too!

The wins in Argentina and Portugal were especially exciting because both of those countries are predominantly Catholic. We also won a victory in California, in which a brilliant and courageous judge declared marriage discrimination to be unconstitutional.

With your help, we also collected over 59,ooo petition signatures so far supporting same-sex marriage, and over 13,000 people have signed up for e-news. We sent the petition to the United Nations and to the White House, and we will send it again once we reach 100,000 signatures.
