Mom to Son: “You’re Gay? Thank God!!!”
After over thirty years of struggling with his sexual orientation, Joe Knudson decided to come out to his parents. He called them up and said, “I have something to tell you, and I’d like to do it in person.” Knudson’s parents drove five hours to visit him. When they arrived, he sat them down in his living room, and his mother burst into tears. Finally, Knudson managed to say, “I’m gay.”

to Save Lives of Gay Youth in Catholic Schools
In a David & Goliath-style showdown, gutsy gay students are taking on the Catholic school board in Mississauga, Canada. Denied their right to form a gay-straight alliance club, students Leanne Iskander, and Taechun Menss have made a big media splash with their demand for equality. Psychological research shows that LGBT youth are much more likely to survive their teens if they have emotional support. How the Girl Who Couldn't Even Talk Inspired Millions
As a teen, Love suffered from a total very painful shyness that left her almost mute. In high school, she became known as the “kid who can’t even talk”.
